Homemade Caramels

2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 cup butter
1 1/4 tsp vanilla
Cook all together to form firm ball (240 degrees). Remove from heat. Pour into buttered pan. 9x13 or you can use a cookie sheet if you like them smaller
Cool overnight and cut into squares and wrap.
Use a LARGE kettle!
